Reebok FIT TECH Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reebok FIT TECH ("Reebok FIT TECH," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Reebok FIT TECH mobile application, related smartwatch companion features, and connected wearable device services (collectively, the "Services").
Reebok FIT TECH is a smartwatch companion and health/fitness application. The Services are designed to help you connect and manage compatible wearable devices, view activity and health-related statistics, record workouts, and manage fitness or wellness reminders.
1. Health and Fitness Data, Including Apple Health / HealthKit
With your explicit permission through the iOS system permission prompt, Reebok FIT TECH may read from and/or write to Apple Health (HealthKit) to support activity tracking, wearable synchronization, workout records, and health or fitness summaries.
Depending on the features you enable and the permissions you grant, this may include:
- Steps, walking/running distance, activity duration, and calories or active energy;
- Heart rate and related activity metrics;
- Sleep duration and sleep analysis data;
- Workout and exercise session records;
- Body measurements or fitness information you choose to enter or sync.
We use HealthKit data only to:
- Display your health, activity, sleep, and workout information in the app;
- Synchronize supported data between your compatible wearable device, the app, and Apple Health;
- Provide user-requested fitness statistics, reminders, and health plan features;
- Help troubleshoot issues when you voluntarily provide diagnostic information to customer support.
We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing. We do not sell HealthKit data. We do not share HealthKit data with advertising networks, data brokers, or third parties for purposes unrelated to providing the Services. We do not use HealthKit data to build advertising profiles.
You can review or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Reebok FIT TECH.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: Information you choose to provide when creating or managing an account, such as name, email address, region, or login information.
- Profile and health plan information: Fitness goals, reminders, hydration or exercise plans, body measurements, or other information you choose to enter.
- Customer support information: Messages, screenshots, device information, logs, or other materials you voluntarily submit when requesting support or reporting a problem.
2.2 Information From Your Wearable Device
- Device pairing information: Wearable device identifier, Bluetooth connection information, phone model, operating system version, app version, and device connection status.
- Activity and health data: Steps, distance, workout duration, calories, heart rate, sleep, and similar data generated by your wearable device and synced to the app.
- Device settings: Settings needed to manage device features such as notifications, alarms, reminders, firmware updates, watch faces, or similar smartwatch functions.
2.3 Location Data
If you enable location permission, we may collect location data to support outdoor workout route recording, motion trail mapping, distance calculation, and related activity features. Location data is used only for the feature you enable and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. You may disable location permission at any time in your device settings.
2.4 App and Diagnostic Data
We may collect limited technical information such as app version, operating system version, device model, connection status, crash information, and diagnostic logs to maintain security, fix bugs, improve stability, and provide customer support. Diagnostic logs may include activity or health-related records if needed to investigate a problem you report.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described in this Privacy Policy to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
- Pair, connect, and synchronize compatible smart wearable devices;
- Display activity, workout, sleep, and health-related statistics;
- Provide reminders, health plans, device settings, and user-requested features;
- Respond to customer support requests and troubleshoot issues;
- Improve app performance, stability, security, and user experience;
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers: We may use service providers for hosting, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, or technical operations. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and must protect the information appropriately.
- With third-party services you choose: If you choose to connect or export data to a third-party health or fitness platform, we share only the information necessary to complete your request. You may disconnect such sharing in the app settings where available.
- For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Services, or others.
- Business transfers: If the Services are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as permitted by law and subject to appropriate protections.
HealthKit data is not shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or third parties for advertising, marketing, or unrelated profiling purposes.
5. Permissions Used by the App
Depending on the features you use, the app may request access to:
- Bluetooth: To discover, pair, and communicate with compatible wearable devices;
- Health: To read and/or write HealthKit data with your permission;
- Location: To record outdoor workout routes and support motion trail features;
- Notifications: To deliver reminders, device alerts, and app notifications;
- Camera or Photos: Only if you choose features that require them, such as uploading a profile image, support screenshot, or customizing supported device content.
You may manage these permissions at any time through your device settings.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it where reasonably possible.
You may request deletion of your account or personal information by contacting us using the contact information below. Some information may be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business records.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- You may manage HealthKit, Bluetooth, Location, Notifications, Camera, and Photos permissions in your device settings;
- You may update certain account or profile information in the app where available;
- You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries or regions outside of where you live. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards to protect transferred information.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
11. Third-Party Services
The Services may allow you to connect with third-party health, fitness, device, or platform services at your request. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that you choose to use.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means as required by applicable law. The updated version will be indicated by a new effective date.
